CDG Community Connection

CDG CARE is excited to launch CDG Community Connection - a monthly gathering where CDG families, advocates, and experts come together to shape the future of CDG research and education. For this first meeting you will meet the CDG CARE Core Team, start conversations that shape the future of CDG research, help define the biggest challenges in our community among all CDG types - from diagnosis to daily life and preview what’s ahead for future meetings. To accommodate as many families as possible around, the meeting will be offered at two times: 11am ET and 7pm ET on May 6, 2025. World CDG Awareness Day 2025

World CDG Awareness Day is an annual event that provides international focus for patient groups and families living with CDG. It is an opportunity to raise awareness, influence change, promote timely disease diagnosis, and improve access to better standards of care and management. World CDG Awareness day is celebrated each year on May 16th - the birthday of Dr. Jaak Jaken who reported the first CDG patients in 1980.
