Gordon Research Seminar: Glycobiology

Four Points Sheraton / Holiday Inn Express / 1050 Schooner Drive Ventura, CA, United States

The Glycobiology GRS is a small group setting that fosters open discussion of innovative glycobiology research through formal presentation and social interaction. The Glycobiology GRS provides a unique forum for young doctoral and post-doctoral researchers to present their work, discuss new methods, cutting edge ideas, and pre-published data, as well as to build collaborative relationships with their peers. The seminar will highlight recent progress in understanding the functional role of glycans and glycoconjugates in a range of areas including (although not limited to): cell signaling, host-pathogen interactions, immune regulation, development, genetic disease, neurobiology and cancer. Emerging methodologies for glycan synthesis, structural glycan analysis and glyco-informatics will also be discussed.

March 12-17, 2023 / Ventura, CA, United States

Gordon Research Conference: Glycobiology

Four Points Sheraton / Holiday Inn Express / 1050 Schooner Drive, Ventura, CA, United States

The Glycobiology GRC is a premier, international scientific conference focused on advancing the frontiers of science through the presentation of cutting-edge and unpublished research, prioritizing time for discussion after each talk and fostering informal interactions among scientists of all career stages. The conference program includes a diverse range of speakers and discussion leaders from institutions and organizations worldwide, concentrating on the latest developments in the field.

World CDG Awareness Day 2023

World CDG Awareness Day is an annual event that provides international focus for patient groups and families living with CDG. It is an opportunity to raise awareness, influence change, promote timely disease diagnosis, and improve access to better standards of care and management. World CDG Awareness day is celebrated each year on May 16th - the birthday of Dr. Jaak Jaken who reported the first CDG patients in 1980.
